corner和turn的区别

corner是名词拐角，街角，角落的意思而turn大都用为动词，拐弯的意思。即使用为名词也只是转的意思，主要表示动作，而corner则表示转弯的那个点，强调的是那一点的位置。turn作为拐角的意思必须再加上ing

corner的用法

都是拐角处的意思，但用法却不一样：inthecorner:在里面的拐角处：比如说屋里面的拐角处有一张桌子Thereisatableinthecornerofthehouseonthecorner:在拐角之上。如在桌子角上放着个杯子Thereisacuponthecornerofthetableathecorner:在拐角外面，如问路回答：请在前面的拐角处左拐Pleaseturnleftatthecornerofthehouse.

in/at/on和corner搭配的区别

都是在拐角处的意思,但用法却不一样：

inthecorner:在里面的拐角处,如：屋里面的拐角处有一台电冰箱.

There'safridgeinthecorneroftheroom.

onthecorner:在拐角之上,如:在书桌角上有一块橡皮.

Thereisaneraseronthecornerofthedesk.

athecorner:在拐角外面,如：在大楼拐角处有一个辆汽车.

Thereisacaratthecornerofthebuilding.

另外,在街道拐角处也用atthecorner,如：街道拐角处有一家商店.

Thereisashopatthecornerofthestreet.
