Corner的用法

都是拐角处的意思，但用法却不一样：inthecorner:在里面的拐角处：比如说屋里面的拐角处有一张桌子Thereisatableinthecornerofthehouseonthecorner:在拐角之上。如在桌子角上放着个杯子Thereisacuponthecornerofthetableathecorner:在拐角外面，如问路回答：请在前面的拐角处左拐Pleaseturnleftatthecornerofthehouse.

round和around的用法区别

round和around通常可以互换，区别如下：

1、在表示"圆形运转,回到原处","环绕","周围"时,美语常用around，而英语常用round例如：Youcanseethepostofficeround/aroundthatcorner.绕过那个弯你就可以看到邮局。

2、round可以用作形容词、副词、介词、动词、名词；而around只能用作副词或介词。例如：Thepostofficeisjustround(around)thehouse(用作介词).Hehasroundface(用作形容词).Theriverroundedthestones.(用作动词)??

3、around还可以表示"不止一处","在许多地方","在不同地方".但在美国英语里,一般只用around例如:Thestudentsarestandingaround(学生们在到处站着)
