(一)杜兰大学优秀学生奖学金(merit scholarships)

(二)全球奖学金(Global Scholarship)

The scholarships cover full tuition(and mandatory fees for students initially enrolling at Tulane in the fall of 2014 or later) are renewable for four years(five years for students pursuing the five-year accredited professional track in Architecture) provided the student maintains a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and continuous enrollment in a full-time undergraduate division.

Typical scholarship recipients rank in the top 5 percent of the class, have a rigorous academic program with honors and advanced placement courses, and have an outstanding record of extracurricular activities and score near the top of the range in a college admission test.

Students may not receive a Dean's Honor Scholarship in combination with any other Tulane merit scholarship, ROTC scholarship, Faculty-Staff Tuition Waiver or Tuition Exchange Scholarship. Students may combine the award with a partial athletic scholarship. Students offered a Dean's Honor Scholarship may qualify for need-based aid. Students guilty of violations of the Code of Student Conduct or Code of Academic Conduct will forfeit all remaining portions of the Dean's Honor Scholarship that they have been offered.

Application Procedure

In order to be eligible for the Dean’s Honor Scholarship, you must first submit your application for admission and all supporting documents by the Early Action/Single Choice Early Action deadline of November 15. Submit the Dean’s Honor Scholarship application and the Scholarship Recommendation(in its own sealed envelope with your teacher’s signature across the seal) by the deadline early in December. Your Dean’s Honor Scholarship decision will be made in late February and sent to you separately.

Students may not receive a Presidential Scholar Award in combination with any other Tulane merit scholarship, ROTC scholarship, Faculty-Staff Tuition Waiver, or Tuition Exchange Scholarship. Students may combine the award with a partial athletic scholarship, a partial Community Service Award, National Merit Scholarship, Valedictorian Scholarship and TOPS. Students offered a Presidential Scholar Award may qualify for need-based aid but are required to fill out and submit the necessary forms to be considered.

Application Procedure

Students must submit an application for admission to the Office of Undergraduate Admission by January 15 to be considered for this scholarship. Scholarship recipients are notified when they receive their acceptance for admission.

Distinguished Scholar Award

General Information

Distinguished Scholar Awards are merit scholarships awarded by the Office of Undergraduate Admission to incoming freshmen applicants. To be eligible, the applicant must be considered by the Admission Committee to have outstanding academic qualifications.

The scholarship is renewable for four years(five years for Architecture students) provided the student maintains a 2.700 cumulative grade point average and continuous enrollment in a full-time undergraduate division(enrolled for at least 12 credit hours).

Students may not receive a Distinguished Scholar Award in combination with any other Tulane merit scholarship, ROTC scholarship, Faculty-Staff Tuition Waiver, or Tuition Exchange Scholarship. Students may combine the award with a partial Community Service Award, National Merit Scholarship, Valedictorian Scholarship and Louisiana TOPS Awards. Academic Achievement Award

Academic Achievement Awards are merit scholarships awarded by the Office of Undergraduate Admission to incoming freshmen applicants.

The scholarship is renewable for four years(five years for Architecture students) provided the student maintains a 2.700 cumulative grade point average and continuous enrollment in a full-time undergraduate division(enrolled for at least 12 credit hours).

If a Academic Achievement Award recipient receives a Faculty-Staff Tuition Waiver, a Reserve Office Training Corps(ROTC) scholarship, and/or any other Tulane Merit Scholarship, the Academic Achievement Award will be cancelled in lieu of the other funding. The exceptions to this policy are for receipt of a Valedictorian Scholarship, a National Merit Scholarship and/or Tulane Need-Based Scholarship, which may be received in addition to the Academic Achievement Award.

The funding for the Academic Achievement Award, as well as for many of Tulane's scholarships, is made possible through the generosity of alumni and friends, and recipients may be requested to acknowledge the donor with a brief thank-you letter.
